Exchange 2010 Database Availability Group Installation

Imagen
Thanks Paul Cunningham Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 introduced a new high availability feature called the Database Availability Group (DAG). This tutorial describes how Database Availability Groups work in Exchange Server 2010, as well as demonstrating the steps for deploying a DAG using Exchange Server 2010 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Exchange Server 2010 Database Availability Group Overview A Database Availability Group is a group of up to 16 Exchange Server 2010 servers that are installed with the Mailbox server role . Each server that is a member of the DAG is capable of hosting active or passive copies of mailbox databases that reside on servers in the group. For example, a Database Availability Group may consist of three Exchange Server 2010 Mailbox servers, each configured with a single Mailbox database. Each server that is a member of the DAG can host either an active or passive copy of each of the three total mailbox databases. How Shrink Volume with Inadequacy Problems

Problem Explanation The main problem that we encounter with the shrink volume feature is that you can’t shrink the volume even when there is clearly free space. You are unable to shrink the volume at all, since according to Windows you have no free space to shrink:

The reason why Windows won’t let you shrink the volume is because there are immovable system files at the very end of the volume, as this screenshot from Auslogics defragment utility shows us. In this case, the immovable file is actually the MFT, or Master File Table for the volume.

Making Shrink Volume Work To absolutely ensure that you can shrink the volume, you should disable as many of the system files as you can, at least temporarily. IT Support HelpDesk Using SharePoint 2010

thanks to www.edutechnow.com As with most IT Support departments in School, I have run a web based IT helpdesk for a number of years. The problem I have found, with many of the products on the market, is that it’s very difficult to find one that meets all of your needs and is simple to use. As the core functionality all I need from a HelpDesk is the ability for staff to report issues or feature requests and for there to be a level of communication between the IT Support team and the user who reports the fault. I have used InfoPath 2010 to create the form. At its core, the form contains a field that pulls out the logged on users name and email address. The field then just has a series of text boxes and drop down lists. The user reporting the fault simply has to complete the one text box and click the Submit button. Workflows The key to how this form works and what gives it the ability to provide a communication line between the user and the IT Support team
